Old Bull and Bush

A lovely pub right next to long walks on the Heath. I visited on a quiet afternoon but this place does get busy. The set menu offers god value but the fish and chips were underwhelming. The crumble dessert with custard however was superb. Service is attentive yet unfussy.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff, food arrived hot and tasty. The decor is very professional and romantic at the same time, lots of choice on the menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I&#39;ll be back

I mean it&#39;s OK: despite quite explicit instructions on booking (dog in tow) they booked us in to the restaurant and had no quiet couch table - even though booked ages ago. They got the food order wrong and seemed a bit understaffed although, I loved the grub and booze. Chicken rotisserie was a delight - honestly... Try it.

I received a text in the morning to ask that if we were running late could we phone them so I tried to do exactly that. Ttied twice but both times no reply so I left a voicemail explaining we&#39;d be 1/2 hour late. When we arrived it was obvious they&#39;d not lidtened to voicemail and given our table away. We were asked to wait at the bar, eventually asked to take a table but then were left for easily 20 minutes  trying to catch the eye of a waiter. Bit disappointing

A lovely dog friendly gastro pub! Reasonably attentive staff but we were in no rushFood options are great and what we picked for dinner was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit

We have visited this restaurant for quite a few years with the exception of the pandemic rules i.e. March 2020 to July 2021 and are so delighted to go there again.The food and drinks are of the same high standard we have always received and we recommend anyone to visit the restaurant and pub.

This is a well established Turkish restaurant that we have recently returned to after an absence of several years. Family run, the same faces are still there as is the wide ranging menu, most of which gives the impression of being prepared and cooked on the premises. The kebabs and barbecue items of fresh, quality meats are cooked at the front of the restaurant - accompanying salads are generous. Starters unless you are very hungry are best shared to leave room for main courses. The available selection of predominantly Turkish wines is small and those we have tried have mostly been of good quality, although the cheapest may be a challenge for some, but nevertheless they go well with the food and the constant supply of fresh lavash. House wine is available by the glass. Depending on how indulgent your meal has been the complimentary fresh fruit and delicious, very sweet, small pastries are a perfect end to a very pleasant evening. Service is welcoming and friendly. It is best to book at peak times. During the day parking can be a problem - varying CPZ times in the vicinity

We recently visited London and stayed in the Notting Hill district. We checked TA for reviews on BFast places near to us and came across a gem. What it&rsquo;s not is fancy. What it is, is homey, relaxing and good. The staff, not sure if owners or husband wife, but they both take pride in the restaurant and want to make their customers happy. That truly comes through when you&rsquo;re deciding what to order and when it&rsquo;s served.
